French Online Happy Hour
Our intermediate French class is best suited for those who have recently finished our beginner French course, or have a basic vocabulary and understanding of French and want to take their conversational skills to the next level.
By completing this course, you’ll learn how to converse on a wide range of topics, you’ll perfect your verb conjugation so you can speak in different tenses, and you’ll be able to conversationally use your French so you feel confident when traveling or conversing with a native speaker.
Our classes are uniquely designed to be both educational and social. We’ve developed the perfect balance of online lessons and online group events to create a fun and immersive learning experience.
At City Speakeasy, we believe that conversation is the key to success. Our welcoming teachers will encourage the group to converse in French within the first five minutes of class.
To ensure our students get direct and dedicated instruction from our teachers, we keep our average class size under 10 students.
· 8-weeks (16 hours) of Online Group French Classes
· All of your learning materials are included. You’ll receive your e-textbook and our proprietary online City Speakeasy French Immersion Guide, as well have access to your digital Immersion Guide and "Absent & Review" Packets in your student dashboard library.
· Access to City Speakeasy's award-winning teachers and discounted future classes and private lessons.
· A post-class virtual happy hour, where you can better get to know your classmates and teacher. Very fun!

Every City Speakeasy teacher is hand picked and goes through a rigorous interviewing and training program before leading your class on your language learning journey! Our teachers have joined our team from places across the globe. They are award-winning teachers, native speakers, and (of course) talented linguists. To learn more about our teachers individually, visit our teacher page.
Classes meet for two hours once a week in an Online Classroom. Each course lasts for eight weeks, including a virtual French Happy Hour where students can engage and converse while showing off their new skills.
We want you to get the most out of your class. If you’ve signed up for the wrong level, just email hello@CitySpeakeasy.com. We’ll do our best to transfer you to a new class (depending on class capacity).
After your first class, you have six business days cancel or transfer classes for a full refund - provided you return your textbook and immersion guide. (If the books are not returned, we will deduct $40 from your refund.) After that time, we are not able to offer refunds for classes.
